OUR MISSION

KOLS HOUSE SUPPORTIVE HOUSING SOCIETY is a nonprofit organization based in Alberta, founded with a clear mission: to create safe, supportive homes for individuals in need of both short-term and long-term housing.

We believe that while love is abundant, it is not always enough. Stability, independence, and a place to truly call home are essential to human dignity. Our society was created out of lived experience, family commitment, and a desire to build a better future for those who need it most.

Our programs are guided by compassion, structure, and respect. Every resident is welcomed as part of a supportive community, and we work to ensure they have the opportunity to thrive.

At Kol’s House, we are more than just housing—we are hope, belonging, and the foundation for new beginnings

Our Mission

At KOLS HOUSE SUPPORTIVE HOUSING SOCIETY, our mission is to support vulnerable individuals through compassionate, person-centered services that promote stability, dignity, wellness, and connection.

Founded from lived experience and a deep understanding of the gaps within existing systems, KOLS House is committed to creating safe and supportive opportunities for individuals facing mental health challenges, disabilities, trauma, housing instability, and barriers to independent living.

Our organization aims to provide advocacy, community support, wellness initiatives, life skills development, outreach programs, and supportive services designed to help individuals build confidence, independence, and long-term well-being.

As we grow, KOLS House continues working toward the long-term vision of developing supportive housing solutions that are rooted in compassion, inclusion, safety, and human connection.

KOLS House is more than housing — it is a mission built on hope, understanding, and the belief that every person deserves to feel supported and valued.
